vegas, need i say more

the week leading up to Charlottesville, i spent at AutoDesk University in Las Vegas. i spent the entire conference at Revit classes. the uses of this technology seems limitless. i happened to be there the night Crystals at City Center opened. it’s a very interesting building, the only Libeskind i have seen. i can’t afford anything in the place, but an incredible building none the less. the architectural model was incredible. i only wish the Helmet Jahn towers had been finished & open. the “trees” on the second floor are very calming in some way. the way everything is lit is pretty surreal. after a few days in Vegas, recuperating in Charlottesville was a great way to end the trip, with good friends, good food & drink, and of course Phish
